Would anyone know if the US Mint has released any of the Mohawk Ironworker Dollar coins or if they have even released them yet? I'm a Canadian Ironworker out of Vancouver, BC Local 97 and would like to get them in a high mint state grade as soon as they are released all help would be greatly appreciated.

Those are the Sacagawea/Native American dollars I presume you're talking about. I think they come out sometime in March.

They shouldn't be hard to get a hold of once they come out. Keep checking.

According to the 2015 production schedule they will become available March 19th. Now these will not be released into circulation, you have to buy them by the roll, bag, or box and you will be able to order them on the mints website.

That's really cool! Nice to see the mint is thinking outside the box.

I never read about this new coin design, thanks JBuck.
Because it's the dollar coin, will it have the Sacagawea obverse (the article didn't say.)

Yes, as of a date I can't remember, each year has the same obverse, but a different reverse.

I have to admit the past two years were not my favorite NA dollars. I do like the 2015 design very much and will pick up a roll or two.

I'd actually buy an oversized version of this one in the style of the ATB 5 oz.
