Just got this one in the mail. Seller said EF40, the pictures weren't the best, but it was at a decent price so I took a gamble. My guess is VF20

Id say F15 to VF20. The hairlines on the obverse are concerning as well as the rim damage on the reverse. They are dreaming @ EF40 eh?! Still a nice cent!

Me too, but I'm glad to say those were on the 2x2. I ran out of 2x2's so I didn't want to take the coin out. But I ended up doing so later and the hairlines were not on the coin.

Thanks for the grades!

If those scratches are on the 2x2, then I would say a solid VF20.
Hope you didn't overpay.

At $5 plus 2$ shipping, I think I did okay. I do love large and small cents, and so I doubt i'll be letting go of this one any time soon.

If Canadian grading had VF-30 that's what I would say but, since it doesn't, VF-20
