Would you guys please offer your opinions on a grade and or any other comment on this coin please?
the coin is raw at this time. Where should it go to be graded?

You should send it to ICCS as they grade OBV mostly...yours I think would have AU details maybe 55, but the black/white pics are hard to judge. Cant give a solid opinion without colour pics

AU- Details. Too bad such a nice coin will get a "details" slapped onto it.

Ok Uncle, these last 2 images are the same coin, except with a different light source and white balance.
am not so sure what you mean with color... what u see is what you get.
The only other slightly different color would be taking the images in real daylight, overcast and cloudy.
then you would get close to the first set I posted.

I have never seen "Details" marked on ICCS coins. On PCGS yes and others also. This coin is guaranteed not cleaned, whizzed, dipped or otherwise surface treated. It has considerable original luster. At one time I thought it might be a SP.
But whatever it will be is ok.

I would venture EF45-AU50, it is tough to tell with the pictures, but it looks like the braid has some wear below the ear,

- It looks like a nice die crack on GRATIA and REGINA.
- I don't know if it is the lighting/grey scale but the fields look pretty banged up
- Based on angle it looks like there are a couple minor rim dings above RA/below left side of bow
- What are the dark/black splotches
- Some "normal" color pictures would be nice,

Nice diecracks.
Re-engraved 5 Variety.
Not sure what the black spots are, but
without coin in hand, I would say it would get an AU.
Certainly worth getting certified.

ok guys, here are 2 more pictures.
taken in very normal daylight. No artificial lighting
Please do not forget that a macro lens, totally focused, will show EVERY ever so tiny scratch or nick. Only with photo trickery will you be able to hide these
"imperfections".
yes guys, even most of your proof coins will show some of these "issues"

The 2nd set of pictures are much better for grading. Nice coin AU58. I'd send it to ICCS or if you want it in a hard slab then send it to CCCS.

I only meant that the coin might get some sort of problem listed in the comments. The second set of pictures does make the coin look better but the spots, if still visible in hand will be a problem.

Even in the new pictures, spotting, scratches and stains are still evident, not sure how visible they are in hand, at PCGS or any other american TPG, they would definitely get a "details" slapped on, if you're very lucky ICCS might just NET grade it. Grade wise looks like an AU-55.

AU 55 for sure ---- quite a set of differing photos---first set looked like environmental damage on obverse.
AU 58 if the lustre is mirror-like.
Great coin---esp.the eyebrow and the neck creases.

47p7 is that the one I wanted to buy on sunday? I thought the crown looked funny... no joke I did, I thought it was part of the design.

Thanks for the new pics, much easier to see what is going on.

AU-55, too bad about the scratches on the face and black stuff, hopefully they are less apparent in person, otherwise nice looking coin.

Does the S in cents looked re-punched? There is a little blob on the top right and what looks like doubling on the top inside of the S. If yes, first one of those I have seen.
