chuy1530 Pillar of the Community United States 513 Posts	Posted 02/01/2015 11:53 pm Got this out of an uncleaned lot. I can clearly make out an "ARAVGPM." The only three emperors I can find with that are Nero, Galba and Claudius. The bust doesn't look right to me for any of them, but looks a lot closer to Claudius than the other two. Is my hunch correct? The reverse doesn't have anything going on. I'll stick it in the olive oil and maybe pull something out but for now it's no help. 12.46 g, 27.97 mm. Tried to download and enlarge the picture but it didn't work. Claudius is probably a fair assumption but one shouldn't discount the others. Report this Post to the Staff

While I think that 'Paul Bulgerin' has the general type right, I think there is a different exergue, something like ?O?.?S? - so could be 'COL.', question what comes after.
