I am looking for list of the RCM coins that are in the 'maple leaf forever' series.

Is there a updated list that someone can point me to?

Just searching google I think it started in 2011 for the 1/2 ounce $10 Fine Silver Coin, with one each year, in 2011 and 2012 there was a special 1kg coin, in 2013 the 1 kg coin had gold gilding.

Noting 2014 1 oz. Platinum Coin Maple Leaf Forever.

Charlton 2015 Vol 2 lists them under the SML section on pg 431. They only have the 2011 & 2012 issues so far though. But there were a 2013 & 2014 as well. This is just referring to the 1/2oz $10 coins with various Maple Leaf designs.

Kuh_85 is right.

Only 2011 and 2012 1/2 oz Maple Leaf (specimen finish) officially named "Maple Leaf Forever" , but the coins of 2013, 2014 and 2015 repeated same specifications, more or less same mintage and price.
RCM never called to them "series".
But it still series, nice and inexpensive.

Thanks for the information. It is a nice series.

The 2012 coin (only) seems to be in some kind of paper packaging. Why was this done? It looks like 2013 reverted back to the clam shell.

Looks like, that they have been issued in two types of packaging:

One - cardboard sleeve, similar to 1/2oz zodiac coins.
Second - traditional. I bought my 2012 from one of the dealers 9didn't like design much and waited with the purchase), and coin came in the maroon case, black outer sleeve with usual sticker identifies the coin. strange, but looks like it original package.

Anyway, I store this series in the 2013 O Canada 12-coin box , which provides excellent presentation, and hope that series will continue.

Added:
just thought, that for people who collects RCM 1/2oz zodiac series, this box will be amazing store/display ware.

Yes, I am looking at the 2015 Charlton Vol 2 and the 2013 & 2014 $10 SML are not listed. The $50 and $250 SML are included, but cannot find the $10. Is this an omission from the catalogue?

Getting the 2015 Maple soon.

I like the way this box takes SMLs as well but not in the
airtites, have to use gloves, some milk spots evident.

Alex A, the Maple Leaf Forever Series is $10
1/2 ounce NCLT with bullion finish, not to be confused with
the Silver Maple Leaf bullion coins $5 1 ounce, SML.

@SilverDon:

exactly. We have 6 similar coins (1/2oz) in the box.
Since I limited my Zodiac coins to Lotus shaped set only, so I do not buy the 1/2oz versions.
And looks like I'll get additional box just for Maple Leaf Forever coins...who knows, how long the series will continue.

The coin is simple and nice. Couldn't really to show the beauty with the camera.

Design style 2012 Maple Leaf, but the Leafs better
Here it is:

Beautiful coins, thanks for posting!

I finally got the $10 maple leaf sorted out in Charlton 2015 Vol 2. Two of them (2011 and 2012) are listed in the SML section on page 431. Two more (2013 and 2014) are listed in the $10 section on page 183 and 187. Any idea why? The coins have the same specifications, finish, etc.

Hi,
i have a few questions too.
Maybe I'm a newbie

The "10$ Forever" what do you mean about the 2012 ?
I buy it with the paperstuff and now I see that it came out
in box and I wondered and search round of many websites and forums for this. Nobody can say how is the right one or why
the RCM have send out two versions.

First question:
Can anyone out of Canada say that he offered by RCM and which coin with version a or b will be received?

The next question are:
On RCM website I found the information in the desciption for the "Forever 2015":
Special features:
• REDUCED PRICE! Now offered at the affordable price of $29.95. An ideal gift or the perfect starter coin to initiate someone's collection!
• 50 PERCENT REDUCTION IN MINTAGE! This year's mintage is only 25,000—a 50% lower mintage from the previous year! Hurry and order yours today!

I mean that RCM tell us that this is a serie, or not?
Have you more informations directly out of Canada for me?

Thanks
and sorry about my english, must learn new, long time ago...
best regards from Germany
Karsten

I got mine 2012 Maple Leaf Forever from the Dealer, and not via Mint.
Also was surprised, that it came in usual maroon clamshell box. Have no idea why two versions.

Here they are all in the picture, top row 2011-2014, and 2-nd row most left - 2015.
It is not clear on the picture, but they have the same "Specimen" finish of the fields, while the Leafs are Brilliant, except 2014, where the Leafs are frosted.
Sorry for no clear focus (I should stop using iPhone and come back to the DSLR).

They basically not appear all as "Maple Leaf Forever", and never were declared as series, but this definition stuck to these coins.

Confirmed the 2012 $10 Maple Leaf Forever does come in the standard RCM red clamshell package (although Charlton catalogue does not list this type of packaging).

Here is a link to an example:

@Alex:

No
This confirmation is only proves, that the standard clam-shell is one of the packaging types for this coin.

This I told month ago, and could attach the screenshot of the case with label.
The second package (I've seen it) this is black with something green (or yellow) cardboard sleeve.

Oh, I have found it on ebay:
