My main interest is US coins. I often browse the most recent post section, and it would be helpful to identify the posts in the Main Coin Forum with US section vis-à-vis Canadian, Ancient and other forums. I actually enjoy reading many of the non-US forums, but a way to identify the various non-US forums in the Main Coin Forum may be useful.

Perhaps this already exists, if so I am not aware of it.

I moved your post to the Suggestions section and noted that you were talking about the Main Coin Forum.

If you want to view recent posts sorted by subforum, the easiest way is to click on the "Active" button up near the top of the screen. It takes you here.

JIM, I tried asking the forum something similar about a month ago but got no response. I too am a u.s. coin collector only. I firmly believe the main coin forum should be u.s. topics ONLY
the posts from Canada should have their own sub forum , then another sub forum for all other world coin topics.

Uh, we already have separate forums.

The Main Coin Forum is for "Discussions that are not coin specific, such as subjects like cleaning, insuring, or storing coins."

There are already nine specific US Coins and Currency Discussion Forums.

We move stuff from the Main Coin Forum to more specific forums all the time. If you something there that does not belong, then send a note to staff.

I wasn't clear in my original post. What I meant to suggest is a way to identify US coin only post in the "View 100 Last Posts" and "View 100 Last Topics". For instance if a topic is "rare 1888 coin" and one clicks on it, it may go to a coin from some foreign country of no interest. That's what I'm driving at. The US coin posts/topics could be identified with an icon or a different color.

Yes, which is why Sap recommended the Active Topics link. It will always show you the new posts since your last login or since you last clicked the AR button at the top left of the list. Trust me, once you start using that page, you will not go back.

The active topics page is awesome. Here's what I do about a hundred times a day....

1. Go to the active topics page.
2. Ctrl-Click on all the topics you want to read so they open in a new tab. (Most browsers do that)
3. Go to the last tab and work backwards closing them as you're done.
4. When you get back to the active topics page click the Ways-To-Help-Identify-Posts-In-Main-Coin-Forum? button (top left) to mark them as all read.
5. If any topics updated while you were reading or posting, they will automagically pop up.
6. Lather, Rinse, Repeat until you're all caught up.

You won't miss a thing this way.

And as a bonus, when you're all caught up, you'll see a list of newly listed items on ebay from our established members (100 posts) only, complete with images.
