1936 Buffalo Nickel - Does It Make Mint State?

Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 02/07/2015 3:25 pm I won this 1936 Buffalon for $4.00 on ebay. I'm no expert at grading Buffalos. It's a frosty coin and I can't detect any noticeable wear under 10x magnification, but I'm not sure if the lighter areas on the buffalo's front leg are light gold toning (which it looks like it is to me) or light rub. What do folks think? MS or nice AU? Thanks for your opinions. For $4.00 I'm not complaining if it's an AU. Paul Bulgerin Report this Post to the Staff

Obverse cheek, forehead,and top center hair. reverse,upper front leg and above. Minimal wear but just my opinion. still a bargain for $4. Report this Post to the Staff
