I've never seen a mason jar break so cleanly before. :-)

No.
He loved the rim ping on the one in the jar so much that he pinged another one to look just like it.

Perhaps you should send him a question through ebay.

Someone needs to call him out on this and bury this scam once and for all.
Edit: I've sent him a message about the images Typecoin pointed out here. It would be interesting to get a response, but I suspect he will only remain silent and delete the incriminating image.

What is the worst is that in is listing with the jar not broken there are 1940's mercs mixed in with Trade dollars (not even legal tender in the US) and 1700's coins.

One of the pictures (the third one) is missing. But you can still see the rim nick at 1 o'clock (magnified). Jeffcoins. Crime will always catch you.

I would really like to see a copy of the email that Kefiroth sent him. "Hello there! I notice that you have a magic coin that can float in and out of a sealed jar! Where did you come across such a fantastic piece? The only time I've ever seen such a thing was when I swam the Bermuda Triangle!"

I am sure he goes silent. Try making him an offer on the gold Indian and see what happens!
