Staff, I think this is the best place to put this, move it if appropriate, please.

I found this crh a while back. I has a frosted look, so I think it's from a mint set, but I'm not sure.

Here's some pics…..

I don't think so. None of the Westward Journey business strikes seem to have that "new from the mint" shine that other clad coins have. It looks like it is just circulation wear.

Okay, but it has almost zero wear, so it couldn't be circulation wear.

The only "frosty" coins would have been minted exclusively in San Francisco, which this was not. I'm with denco7 on this one, looks like circulation.

To me, it looks like it had been sitting heads-up in water for a spell.

It's not a proof, so that leaves only unc sets.... However, unc sets came
with the same business strike coins that are in your pockets... EXCEPT the
mint set uncs from 2005 to 2010, when they tried the "satin finish" coins.
The obvious problem here is that this coin is a 2004. Nuff said.

I roll hunt nickels and I see that hazy look on coins quite often, I'm not sure what causes it but it's not made that way from the mint.
