Was a bit of an easier one, and despite starting it recently, finished it before my Mercury dimes (16D and 21D left) Took advice from the forums and went with an MS 64 Collection vs Circulated or BU. (one MS65 in the mix and a 64+ both of which I plan on trading down sooner than later, about 10 or so FBL mixed in) holler if I mixed something up, just threw them all in tonight and spent more time flopping them around to get a semblance of order.

Seriously nice set! The 54s however just doesn't fit. You need to replace it with a MS64.

Nice set Shale! That was my first set to complete. I tried to get at least 64fbl (except the 53 of course). I have recently been trying to finish the proofs, need 3 more. Congrats!

Why are Franklins so infrequently found white?

Quote:The 54s however just doesn't fit. You need to replace it with a MS64. I agree. You said you have an MS-64+ but I don't see one. I still would keep it because it still is an MS-64. Quote: Why are Franklin's so infrequently found white? Most of his coins do not look white because of the camera angle. Not a big deal as he wanted to get as many coins in each shot. Experienced Franklin half collectors know how nice these truly are regardless of how they look in these pictures. There are some nicely toned pieces in his set. Typically Franklin halves are found white and you have to seek out the toned ones. It took some doing to assemble this set of MS-64's and I congratulate him for this accomplishment. Well Done! Quote: I tried to get at least 64fbl (except the 53 of course). It is the 1953-S that is the rarest of the FBL's and for one above MS62 you will need to dig very deep as the competition for them is fierce they are so rare.

Yeah sorry for the photos are majority blast white, with a few having speckeled toning, and 3 having solid toning. Did quick pictures because I still havnt set up a good way to photograph these coins, will archive them all with photos once I do.
Thanks!

Thanks for the insights. I probably need to see more coins in hand vs just images.
