From what I can see, this coin has a very bold strike on the obverse, especially evident in the date, "Liberty" (and it's separation from the rim). The reverse isn't quite as bold with some softness in the hair and the tail (which is fully split but slightly flattened).

The luster seems slightly impaired, so I would grade MS63, possibly 64 in hand. I don't see any signs of wear that might move the coin below MS. Very nice example!

I'd agree with MS-63. I notice the letters of E PLURIBUS UNUM seem very thin and delicate. Does anyone know if this is typical for the issue? Maybe the reverse die was polished to the point that this feature was partly worn down?
For comparison, here is the reverse of my 1915 nickel which is a proof. Notice how much more robust the E PLURIBUS UNUM letters are.
