I have this coin for some time. Today I decided to look at it a bit closer...
OMG, I am surprised this coin is holding together.
Am wondering if this is a lamination issue or a planchet issue? Or something else?
Look at it for a while. it is amazing..these holes and crackes etc.. Vicky must hace a headache..

thanks for your comments guys.

Nice coin looks like a woody with heavy contaminates rolled into the metal, planchet issues. Poor alloy mix

yes that sounds about right. I believe that this is both a lamination and a improper metal prep. Since the pieces are missing, pieces of coins are usually intact if the coin has the proper metal characteristics... very nice coin!
