Anyone know why NGC would grade a 1992 D and designate it as ' Wide AM'? Just curious thanks!

Assuming you know about the WAMs in the late 90's, the '92-D cent had a CAM, I'm assuming it's just designated to differentiate the two varities

Yes that's why I was curious about that designation...seems odd especially since the '92 cam is so rare...wonder if all the '92's from ngc are designated ' Wide AM'...not being an error at anything I just find it odd-saw one on ebay earlier

Maybe the submitter thought it was a Close AM, and they set the record straight listing is as what it really is?
