I ran across this a few minutes ago while browsing ebay, the date sure looks off. checking the sellers other items I see another 23-S that sold and a 1921 that look questionable.

221687785189

these 3 in the sold history.

Is it me or are these Chinese fakes that seem to be popping up more and more on the bay?

I'm continually amazed that people will spend that much money on a coin with no authentication.

Looks to me like the 1923-S is the same coin in both listings or made from the same mold. The gouge in the obv head and rev wingtip are the same.
