We are doing a lot of chit chat on the subject of counterfeiters and that is great - more awareness the better but time to do something with a few small steps. I for one am starting to mail out concerns to the auction houses, TPG companies, ebay, MPs in my region and generally stirring the pot where I can, if we get organized as one voice we can make things happen! |

On another thread a fellow by the name of 47p7 suggested writing a letter...
I suggested perhaps getting some like minded individuals together to actually create something we could send out to our fellow hobbiest to send to our politicians....

I think its important to make MPS and other people of influence that many of us are concerned and would like stronger policies in force to protect us, we vote, we invest a lot of money. Other businesses are pushing back and are united in this e.g NHL Jerseys counterfeits from China etc

Agreed, and I'm happy to help collaborate. I own a GR firm, with contacts at Parliament Hill and the RCM. We would need a unified approach, and I see the RCM and their distributors (like CC&C), and other stakeholders including law enforcement as being necessary partners in this. Perhaps the RCNA should take lead as the coordinating body...but pressure from the membership may be necessary for action on that front. |
