not the prettiest large cent but might be vg10 to f-12ish? The N on reverse looks broken to me also. Anybody able to tell what N # this might be? Thanks Jerry http://www.ebay.com/itm/1839-Large-...047675.l2557

That's a nice coin, I was going to bid on it, but realized I already have a 1938. You have 16 N choices, but might be able to quickly identify it by comparing to these.

yes I did bid on it Celtic It is hard for me to tell the difference between this broken N variety and the other more rare types. I have the Cent book by Wright but am not good at using it.

I want to get The Cent Book but it's $90. I bought the EAC grading guide 2 weeks ago so I'll have to bite the bullet again and buy a coin book instead of a coin.
