Have even more difficulty reading the legend on this one than on the other. Might have another look later when my eyes have rested a bit. The one things which can be said immediately based on the design, is that it would have been issued by a religious agency, like a bishopric or abbey.

This is a Silvergroschen minted in Bonn for the Archbishopric of Cologne by Archbishop Friedrich von Saarwerden (1378-1414) - other sources state his reign as starting 1372.

See http://www.medievalcoinage.com/saur...r/1/1412.htm

As a historic note: The Archbishops of Cologne resided in Bonn from 1288 onwards. The citizens of Cologne fought a war with the Archbishops and in 1288 managed to defeat Siegfried II von Westerburg. After that the city became a Free City and the Archbishop didn't have much of a role to play in the city, except that he had the final say on the death penalty and he had to hold mass in the cathedral on the high festivals of the catholic church - not that he liked that much, because every time he entered the city he had to swear not to interfere with the affairs of the city.

Please don't forget to post your coin in https://goccf.com/t/195985 once we reach the 1371-1380 decade.
