The first 2 photos don't reall do the coin justice, it looks MS-64RD, maybe RB. Nice Doubled Die though!!..

What do you have in to it without the CAC? What does CAC charge and what would the value be? John1

Quote: What do you have in to it without the CAC? Appears to be a current PCGS holder based on the photos provided. The second set of photos are likely closer to the true surface color ... MS64RD for me. Not sure why this would need a CAC beanie to validate whatever grade PCGS assigned? Lovely example of this sought after doubled die! David

No way I'm paying to get a coin slabbed and then paying AGAIN just to confirm a grade. MS-64 RB.

Nice 72DDO! TPG 65, might be RB, hard to tell from the pics. Personally, I'd put it in a 64RB holder due to the spots and a few ticks. I love the coin just as it is, it's a lot nicer than my BN AU.

I do not believe CAC stickers modern coins, so this would not be a candidate. Having said that MS-64 RB.

wow, 64? Is that because of the spots? The nicks aren't that bad. You'll be shocked to see PCGS give it a 66 then! I likely won't be doing CAC. why RB? might be hard to tell since there's no other color to compare it to maybe...?

Maybe the spots developed after PCGS slabbed it.

No surprise for me, the TPGs usually give Memorial cents 1 pt higher than a similar Wheat. It's all about luster and eye appeal which we can't see in the pictures.
The coin appears to have developed a deep, red patina. It doesn't appear to be the original mint bloom, generally these get lumped into RB.
