Looks like being either genuine or a contemporary fake (plenty of those where produced).

The die style of the coin being offered is clearly much different than the coin shown in the catalog. As such and with the color looking more like brass than copper. I would believe the coin is a contemporary copy.

Most contemporary copies sell in the range of $50-100 US so it appears to be a good price either way. One US dollar is worth over 100 din so the price is under $5 US.

My concern is line between 1 in 1789 and CA in CAYENNE. There is no line on coin shown in the catalog.
