I read that Q. David Bowers is finishing up a book on the Barber Silver coins for Whitman.

Not a lot of info in the article I read on Coin World but my guess is it will be a part of the Red Book Series which to date has 17 books out so far.

Yep the title gives up the answer in your link. "A Guide Book of Barber Silver Coins" one more in a series, I'm guessing that he didn't want to put out seperate books on dimes, quarters and halves. Makes sense to me, they are all very similar anyways, he can cover the design, then each section of the book can be on the denominations or maybe he will go by date order and comment on each mint by year for all three denominations?

Dave is a writing machine - I hope he lives to be 200!
