Would it be worth sending to a grading service? I'm planning on reselling it.

Decent coin, not sure it wouldn't come back cleaned from a TPG. The details put it at least in VF though.

I can't tell from the pic if it's possibly been tooled on the obverse right hand field. I sometimes see tooling in these areas to remove initials or other graffiti. It's probably not tooling, but I would just take a close look. No need to send it in if it's indeed tooling IMO.

Sounds good thanks. If I put it up on ebay how much would it fetch?

Last time I saw one up for auction it was about F-15 and eventually got about $130 if I remember correctly.

Level of detail makes VF20-25. In a righteous slab that's $125-140ish if you get retail. No real way of knowing what they'll think of the surfaces.

Net VF20. The spot on the obverse and the rim damage on the reverse could result in a details assessment

VF20 but not going to make a TPG. Reverse is nicked up and soft looking and the glare from your obverse makes it tough to see the relief and there is something happening in the right mirror. It could have been cleaned/washed a very long time ago and its toned a bit over since.
