jpbone Pillar of the Community United States 1959 Posts	Posted 02/18/2015 2:40 pm I can't tell from the pic if it's possibly been tooled on the obverse right hand field. I sometimes see tooling in these areas to remove initials or other graffiti. It's probably not tooling, but I would just take a close look. No need to send it in if it's indeed tooling IMO. Reverse is nicked up and soft looking and the glare from your obverse makes it tough to see the relief and there is something happening in the right mirror. It could have been cleaned/washed a very long time ago and its toned a bit over since. Report this Post to the Staff
