I'm thinking about trying it with some average Kennedy halves and Washington quarters. I'm anxious to get these sold, so I'm wondering about trying a 1 day auction on ebay.

Ever tried it? Good experience? Bad experience?

Thanks.

I've personally never been involved as a buyer or seller with a 24-hour auction.
But I've found that they are often ignored because they are often associated with scams.

I had good success with one day sales when I was selling. I always started my listing between 9:30 EST & 10:30 EST that way the east coast & west coast and everything in between had a chance to see it listed in the evening when most people are home from work. Usually I don't even pay attention to when a listing started,Just when it ends

Thanks for the advice folks!

I'm giving it a shot, and I'm quite nervous...

90 percent of the time you will lose abit of money. Meaning you won't get as much for it normally. OTH you get the most views on the first and last day of your auctions, so having real long auctions won't do you much good either. Good Luck!

I've seen people have great success with one day auctions. Silver is pretty popular, and it will be found by the searchers. Sometimes the first one day auction is a bit slow, but if you do it more often, people catch on and follow.
