I think this is a manmade error I just don't know how can
be done without damaging the rest of the coin

looks like someone tried real hard to punch a hole in it but failed.

It appears that someone did remove part of the coin, but then soldered it back in.

What was the "plug" is rotated slightly.

Some of the solder can be seen at the seam at about 5 O'clock on the reverse.

It is definitely punched through and plugged in but how without even bending the coin

Looks like they pressed it in from the obverse. Note the devices are flatten more in that area.

You are absolutely right (again) Coop.That's how the plug was set in the coinI believe.I also think that two coins were used to create this one.One to drill through and one to cut the plug from.

Cool coin I hate seeing that some one did that to a coin, but its kind of cool to see it put back together
