Macro/Super Macro Lighting Problems

bishftl Pillar of the Community United States 1020 Posts	Posted 02/19/2015 9:44 pm Camera: FUJI FINEPIX SL1000 Lighting: Overhead dual halogen What is causing the camera to produce a pinkish tone to the photos? Is it a white balance issue, the color of my background, or the lights themselves. and how can it be corrected? My camera manual does not have any kind of details on actual camera setup or changing of settings. Any help would be appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

CaptainFwiffo Pillar of the Community United States 4132 Posts	Posted 02/19/2015 9:57 pm It's the white balance. If your camera doesn't have a white-balance setting, it can be fixed in post. SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 02/19/2015 10:39 pm It's absolutely a White Balance issue which your Fuji should be able to fix easily. This is actually quite the spec-tacular camera for a superzoom, even past the ridiculous zoom. The terms "full Manual control" and "RAW shooting" do not occur in this class of camera, but yours has them. Your manual is probably on disk, because it's going to be huge to teach you everything the camera is capable of. Report this Post to the Staff
