For the last month or so I've been a little out of sorts with regards to my coin photography and photography in general. I've been moving my studio from a small bedroom upstairs to a much larger room downstairs where I'll have much more room to work. In the move I had lost my ability to tether my camera (Pentax K5) using PKTether to a computer.
My son, an IT engineer took it upon himself to get me set up again. It was a nice surprise. Now I can, from the new studio take shots directly from the computer and save the results to a network drive.
It's so nice to be set up again like this as it makes taking coin shots so much easier.
Just thought I'd share, thanks for listening and if you aren't tethered yet, if you're camera will allow it give it a try. It's awesome!
Well, this all just proves you're smarter than me. We're both old enough to have full adult children, but only you had one trained to fix stuff for you.
Yes sir, he's my in house IT specialist :) Networking guru and really good at it. He surprised me with this as he knew I was very busy and the move downstairs has kept me quite busy. Nice surprise for sure!
