Looking in the Red Book, under "CALIFORNIA SMALL-DENOMINATION GOLD," there is information about your coin.
It may have been a privately minted coin. Just trying to help.

Pytellc, you posted a number of interesting CA. Gold coins.
There are a number of CCF members who do know CA. small denomination gold. Can you tell us a little history about your coins and how you scored them.
This is an amazing collection.

These are actually coins I am intersted in purchasing from an online california gold "specialist". I only use parenthesis because I posted a coin from the same dealer who listed it as BG 1332A, and that does not even exist in the Breen-Gillio book. For one reason or another I have always been very interested in these. In fact, somehow, California fractional gold was the reason I got into collecting/researching coins.
