I found this in my old penny collection is it a error worth keeping?

What year is it? it is a "BIE" penny. It is a die chip.

Looks like a BIE which is really a die chip. The newer the year the more collectable it is. They were common in the 40's-50's and fell out of favor. There is even a book out there on them,that's how popular they once were.

Yep, its a "BIE" cent, most likely from the 50's and even then most likely '57 D... As said it's a die chip.
