Well, here's an odd little thing I found in a roll of pennies today. As you can see from the picture, it says that it was minted in 1958, and seemingly from somewhere called "Chana"
The coin hasn't been cleaned, so it looks a bit rougher than it actually is... it really is in quite nice shape, with sharp, definable lines.
I went online, and searched everything I knew how, looking for information on the coin, or on any country called "Chana" And all I got were things telling me I was mis-spelling China, or things that had absolutely nothing to do with coins or countries.
It also says it's a Six-Pence, which lends itself to Brittain, or one of it's colonies... That, combined with the fact that the image on the front looks African (yeah... you can't see it too well in the scan, but it sticks out in-hand) Would lead me to believe it was a country, somewhere in Africa... Anywho, here's the coin, and I'd appreciate any further info you can give me on it. :)
