Could someone tell me what the current RedBook value is for the 1986 U.S. Commemorative 3 Coin Proof Set (silver dollar, gold $5, and clad half dollar)?

Thanks in advance.

that's all there is so I assume that is including the $5 gold coin? There is no other gold coin in the 1986 commemoratives.

That price is for the silver dollar. Just like the silver dollar is 90% pure silver, the $5 gold coin is 90% gold and is worth about $180 if you melted it down. I was kind of hoping to find out its numismatic value based on the newest Red Book. Could you look further back in the book where the rest of the $5 gold commemorative coins are located and see if its listed there?

Thanks

That's what I was talking about. Thank you very much Sleaklight. You should consider a career in private investigating

BTW thanks again for the 1 oz silver 'Libertad'!
