Unfortunately these all suffer from PMD. Spend them if you can.

The Quarter is Mint damage caused by the ejection of the coin press.

I apologize...did not look at the quarter closely enough. I see the doubling after a 2nd look... very cool. And while that dime is definitely PMD... I'd keep it!

The nickel.... eh, looks like someone tried to pull a Terminator steel bath on it.

and.... I apologize for my lack of manners...

That quarter is cool. more knowledgeable folks than I will be able to shed some real light on the doubling.

Due to the blotchy/globby nature, that nickel looks like it was dunked in a bath of molten zinc or lead, retrieved, and cooled relatively quickly.

No. It is MD. MD is machine damage. You can see that the decices that look doubled are shelf like and flat. The coin rotated while being ejected. The machine reduced the devices. Very very very common and it is spendable.

That first coins reminds me something I'd rather not mention here. I put it away somewhere. Anywhere.

How many times do I have to say this? This is not an error and happens on pretty much every other coin you find! It is spendable!

Sure it's spendable, but that doesn't mean it can't be kept as an educational example.
