Where Do NIFC Halves Come From? - Coin Community Forum

Coincollector110 Pillar of the Community United States 818 Posts	Posted 02/27/2015 07:53 am I see people posting that they found several NIFC halves in a box, but do they come from a book that isn't sealed? It would seem unlikely that several people would all be cutting their sets open like the proof ones, so I'm guessing they come in a place that they can be easily accessed. I got several proof dimes in junk silver boxes that way. I found two nclt dollars in bank rolls and two proofs in dime and cent rolls. It happens a bit I believe. Report this Post to the Staff

Haven't found a proof yet but probably 3-4 halves and gold dollars. Agree with Bud250r and Bertensgrad that it's likely spent rolls/bags or broken up sets. Report this Post to the Staff
