No, Marty, not at this time. Like people use to say here (and there), I will wait , when the hype will be over, and it will be offered for 1/2 of issue, then will buy to see by myself. Hope, the Ruthenium will not go off the coin and the COAs (with their low quality will still exist)
I have the Somalia Elephant gold enigma coin, its ok I guess, I bought it because Somalia elephants are my theme and focus. as far as how the coin is doing, not great, I also see the pandas in the golden enigma series are not doing that hot either...
however, this flaming maple leaf is really hot and holding up really well...
I still think, that the "Enigma" is better than "Burning".
What I didn't like (but it just my guess): Looks like, that the reverse of "Burning" series is totally painted. The "black" is the paint, it looks too dark, while the obverse very lightly enhanced with ruthenium.
*The brown areas and packaging issue looks like minor.
I know these type coins are not for everyone and have their fair share of collectors that think they are a huge waste of money BUT for those that do like them check this new one out: https://firstcoincompany.com/S/rece...-plated-1-oz If you want to order one use coupon code THANKYOU for a 3% discount (edit shopping cart to enter) And please don't shoot the messenger~! Just an FYI post..... I bought the first Maple for $99 and the ASE for $149 and just ordered this one. I personally like these "altered" "coins"
If RCM by itself would mint and colorize similar way - people probably will stay away. Although the price will be similar - CAD 100 - 120 for enhanced coins, but not with the tiny mintage of 500.
Quote: You guys or gals are giving the RCM too many ideas for future releases, a roasting beloved beaver, ect.
Even if these did give them new design ideas, they would never issue a 1 oz silver coin with 500 mintage for $100 CA, not going to happen although we all know it would be a instant sell out/ success. Just not enough potential profit in it for them.
