Not too sure if this is a specimen strike or if the metal aligned differently than usual. But it looks like there are straight lines throughout the coin.

I don't know what caused the parallel lines, but this is common in zinc pennies. This is a business strike.

the parallel lines were made by the die, very common

Yes they look very common. In the ~500 pennies I searched, I got about 10-12 like that

It's definitely not the die since they can be in any direction. It's something to do with the planchet.

hello paulsz question the middle A in Canada plus the D appear to look like they have doubling or is this just some thing about the focus. it is just how it appear on my screen

very common on the first of the canadian zinc pennies! this one isn't even that bad compared to others!
