I have two fairly rare one ounce bars that I plan to sell with consecutive serial numbers.

Should I post them on there own or together? Does the consecutive serial numbers have any value? I know when I bought the bars I thought it was pretty cool. (Basically I have serial #s like this: ******09, ******10, and ******12, I am missing ******11

Next question: I have never used ebay before, will my lack of likes or whatever hinder my sales or should I get a friend to post my items?

thanks

MontanaCMR: thanks for the fun response. I didn't add pictures or details because I'm not sure if this is the correct location to sell items. I enjoy this form and like to stay inside the rules.
cheers

boo, hiss, boo, hiss :)

You could still show pictures and then we could let you know if we would recommend selling them together or separate on ebay. I like ebay because of the buyer and seller protection. IMO, the 15% fee or whatever is well worth it.

Okay, I've been looking at the rules and I think I can post them here on the: Sales Promotion: CCF, ebay, eCrater, Heritage, Teletrade etc form.
I'll try it there 1st and then if I have to takers I'll ask a friend to post them on ebay.
Montana...thank you for your interest.
No pictures tonight, I'm on break at work, the consecutive serial number King Koil bars are at home. I'll post them on the correct form tomorrow.

Why not post them for FREE on CCF?

I rarely sell anything so that's where my cautious questions are coming from. As above , I will try posting them here on CCF 1st. I have not used the Sales promotion part of CCF and just today I've started reading. It looks like I can handle it.
Thanks for your input.

It looks like a consecutive set sold last December for $99 for the set.

There are a few singles listed for $99, but can't remember seeing any in the sold area for that price.

Very cool looking bars.

Thanks again for the input. Collecting is always a fun but frustrating pass time. Juggling wants with allotted funds is a battle.

The ebay ref was great and gave me a real world idea on what the consecutive serial #s would be worth to a buyer.

For all this it looks like my bars will remain at home with me. They are just too awesome to sell for potentially $50.ish each.
Thanks again,
Liverpool
CCF rocks
