Hope springs eternal. He was hoping for both exposure on the news ("Hey, there's a money show in town") and something for the short snorter people - a story explaining what a short snorter is.
There is a nice exhibit at Portland that has been around in a couple different versions with sigs from lots of famous people. My favorite (which I think is new) was the case relating three relatively famous women[Mrs. Roosevelt was one] through notes that they signed.
