I was at an auction today and there where about 5 lots of '64 Kennedy half dollars with ten in a lot that went for about $30-35.
silver Washington quarters in lots of ten went for less than $20.I didn't buy any.

I go to auctions intending to buy ,,but sometimes I walk away without anything ,, it all depends on who else is there .

there is always the next auction !

Hi Zach

They are live auctions and are often held at a local auction house,(sometimes they are held at houses for estate sales ) they have an auctioneer and the whole nine yards ,, usually there is a preview time before the auction begins and they sell anything from rusty silverware to to the kitchen sink.

If your wondering if they have them in your area ,,check in the phone book for auctions ,, either go to one or call them and ask to be added to the notification list for up coming auctions.
