In 1977 they modified the reverse so that the design and wording was smaller. They also replaced the rim denticles with beads. This is probably why it looks different.

Thanks for answering my question. I'm not familiar with all of the different Canadian currency and that one stood out to me.

The seller also says it's for a lot of 11 silver dollars. In the item description it says a lot of 20 silver dollars. Seller needs to get his facts correct about what he selling.
