I picked this little darling up recently and wanted to see what the CCF Members had to say about her.

Thank you for your interest!

Purdy.

I'm wavering about what I'm seeing around the chin, but the rest of the coin is 67FB all day. That black mark (also by the T) probably keeps it from 68. This coin is that good.

Can you do me a favor and bring this image into Pytellic's thread on the same issue? He's not getting the best of images and we're trying to decide if his 1941-D is worth submitting. Yours would be a helpful grading comparison for him.

That would be great! Thanks for suggesting that SsuperDdave. Would I be allowed to transfer the image myself? Unless, of course, the image is considered the OP's property.

He posted the image here. It's ours now.

My main interest, Pytellic, is to give you the chance to compare what you're seeing here with what you have in-hand. This coin is worth submitting, and if yours is in the same class you're in good shape.

Don't forget, we don't know the grade of this one yet.

You're right, I got ahead if myself. I will say that this example looks nicer than mine. I just posted another Merc that looks similar to this one, however.

No problem on sharing the images that I post here...I have what is important....the coin. ...for now anyway, I will be using this one and a few others for bartering material.

Maybe *you* don't. Don't worry, I didn't cheat until after I posted my guess. :)

How does one cheat here? I'd really like to know the grade as well, I have the patience of a child. Guess that just comes with the "Generation Y" territory. Us younglings have become accustomed to instantaneous satisfaction what with smart phones and all...
