This came in a lot of 4 large cents. Paid about 6 bucks. Even with the throat hit it will occupy a hole in my book very nicely.

1845 N-3 R.4 10/8. The hit right in the focal area hurts the net grade.

Large cents were subject to much abuse. people back then
must have used them a lot for just about any small item.
