A metal detectorist friend of mine just came up with this Henry VIII Sunburst Groat. In my opinion the condition is just superb! What is a coin like this worth? My specialty is Victorian coins so I don't really have a very good indication other than what I see on ebay.

It's a lovely find but quite worn in places & looks like the edge has cracks,so I don't think value is going to be too high,but you never know on ebay

Somewhere along the way someone is going to say its silver plated and not worth anything. At that point you can contact me for a fair price and/or can include it my new book on WORLD contemporary counterfeits.
