 teecee from the bottom of the world Take it slowly and you will learn about the wonders of the world Yes well enough of that ---do you collect modern or ancient? I collect farthings and so far I start at 1613. Now its show and tell time

Hello all.... New member living in Louisville, Kentucky and have been a casual collector since being a young teen and like most kids started with collecting pennies using the 2 set books for pennies. Have always looked at my change looking for older coins still in circulation and have found a few gems. More recently have inherited some coins and paper money from both my father in law and step father. I have completed an inventory and am trying to determine the value more for possible insurance purposes. Also am interested in how to preserve and present my collection. So far no relit ices have show an interest in inheriting the collection so what are others doing in this situation? Looking forward to further posts.#128515;

Welcome. Hudsonmw, what coins did you inherit? I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like to see pictures.

Ok, so there is where we pick up our name badges:) Ha ha...
Well, I am from Boston, just watched the Pats go to 8-0. I have been collecting coins since I was a young kid in late sixties. However, I was not actively collecting for about 25-30 years. When we sold the family home a few years ago, I picked up all my blue books, cedar boxes, etc..and got back into it. A lot has changed, never bought a coin until the last year. What I collected I got in change or by kind relatives. I guess I like to see how others store and organize their collections. Thanks and hope to meet a few of you down the road.
