I am born & are living in Romania's capital city,Bucharest. If someone happens not to know,my country is in Eastern Europe,E.U. I collect coins since childhood(with years of pauses),now mainly ''modern'' silver coins from all over the World(all countries),16-th. to 20-th.century(up to about 1950-1960). As the domain I have chosen is very large,I collect only by types but good years & mints are welcomed! I already have many hundreds of coins,perhaps some thousands,I never counted them(as I know others do,to the piece...) I have also a few antique coins & my country's coins(except gold!) since 1867(first emision of national coins) + a few romanian medals,tokens and banknotes. My little coin hobby recently grew exponentially when I inherited a relatives rather large collection. I now have coins and currency from around the world along with many other collectibles. I collect coins from pocket change and gifts, as well as buying them off folks who aren't really collectors or would rather have the money as I am currently starting over thanks to an ex with sticky fingers. I also started collecting Goldbacks (Gold notes) in 2019, I love the art Aurum uses on the different denominations. I collected older American coins for years, but since losing my collection, I have started looking for errors and having pretty decent luck. I wish I could find some W mint marks as easy as I've been finding errors and silver, haha! Report this Post to the Staff

ronnierjr75 New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 02/07/2023 2:07 pm not sure how this all works my names Ronnie I'm from idaho ...was digging fill from a old mine in north idaho dug up a coin in very rough condition ..a 1883 nickle...looked it up and found this forum..kinda got me interested in coins ..iknow nothing about coins just what ive learned from the hundreds and hundreds of your forum posts here...but ive been gathering evey coin I can get and found some with errors...some realy old but want to get to learning more from you folks...very sharp folks here...i have many qeustions ...just happen to look in my change this morning and seen a video on a newer quarter 2001 kentucky D...they showed errors but not like the one I have ...on one side the united is almost completely gone and 3/4 of america you can make the words out with a magnifying glass ithought possibly warn off but edge coin no wear and in god we trust very much raised and no wear at end of america ....any you folks seen this...anyhow excited to meet you folks.. I have a lifelong curiosity about coins, and am attracted to the visual appeal pehaps over the grade or market value.
