hello I am new here and clueless. lol I am from Pennsylvania. I have been saving my change for years. Recently I decided to check my coins for error coins and have come across some interesting coins. I thought this might be the place to find out if what I have found is collectible or valuable. My wife calls me an idiot a lot so that is why I chose the name I did. I figured if someone replied to anything I posted they might say.hey idiot..good find etc etc. this will help me feel at home.

Do not feel bad as my wife calls me lots of names. Most of which I cannot use as a "handle". LOL - I used to tell my coworkers when they had a issue with their computer that it was an "ID 10T" error. They would say What is that? and I would say write it down.

Hello to all My name is CoCo and I'm from Huntington Beach CA USA. I've been saving U.S.coins for quite a long time. Particularly, any coin from 1966 as well as any coin I found with an inclusion, orseemed unique and/or any old coin that looked shiny and new. Since deciding to move forward with my coins I've learned about the cherry pics, the different varieties/ errors and can guess grade ok. Yet I've got a few coins that stump me still. I look forward to meeting the coin community

Hi I am pretty new to all this, I Live in Arizona. My Father's collection started when his mother got him the 1948 Proof set to celebrate his birth, and each subsequent set for his birthday each year. At 18 he moved to Denver for school and continued his collection adding the mint sets, prestige sets, silver proofs, and souvenir sets. When I was born he started another collection for me with all the sets from my birth year on. He took me on my first tour of the Denver Mint, and going together once a year became a tradition.
Sadly he and his collection were lost to a house fire in 2021. I am attempting to rebuild his collection in his honor, and hopefully pass it to my children as he had intended to do.
As sad as it sometimes makes me, I am very much enjoying this process and feeling close to him even though he is gone. I look forward to learning as much as I can from you guys!
