Just beginning. Have about a handful of the startings of either a collection or something to do to kill time and maybe make a few bucks and lead me to what to do with it for more of it, for as long as I live. And life has been what it's been, aka I'm 53yrs old, divorced since 2000, unemployed for probably a decade determined to figure myself out, and living alone in Oklahoma USA knowing everything is about to take off in a big way, in a good way, for literally everything.
Merely because I want it to and no one argues with me about positivity in what's been, and until what I'm saying here "is" as true as anything else that's true is true, is still being far less logical and far less helpful and downright intolerable on occasions. Anyway, negativity leads to death. Plain. Simple. Factual.
g positive which is possible knowing that negativity is either not the same as positivity, or "is". In which case, is the same after a long enough period of time has passed.

Hi I'm Lori I live in Fort Smith Arkansas From Holland Michigan originally. I always loved going through coins with my dad he is in the late stages of Alzheimer's but he still loves going through coins. He tells me how he and his little daughter would go through them. I'm her. Hoping to find people who just enjoy the hunt and the occasional find. Also hoping to get some questions answered about some finds I have.

Hi! I am from Scranton Pa. Started collecting when I was a little girl now I in a state of appreciation for what I have accumulated. I have been studying mostly low denomination coins and have been looking a lot coins with errors. Even with all the books I have read and videos I I have watched still very confused regarding doubles dies and scratches on coins. I have been reading this site without registering for a few months now and decided to take the plunge. #9786;#65039;. I will appreciate and be grateful for any/all advice I receive as there are very informed participants on this site. Thanks in advance!

Hello everybody! I'm obviously new here and wanted to say hi. Hi! I'm Chuck, and live in the beautiful PNW. South Sound area of Washington State. Shout out to JAH 939. Hey neighbor! I'm a total noob coming into coins. Ha, I'm still in the going broke phase of this hobby. Ive sunk the required loot into the gear so far. You know, the essential tools and reference materials needed to weigh, identify, and store all of the cool coins I'm hoping to find. Ive even found a bank that just sold me $2000 in coins. I'm starting out by hunting rolls of Halves, Quarters and Lincoln Cents to start filling up my coun books. Hopefully socking back some killer varieties at the same time. I love this stuff!
Ive also wanted to start metal detecting. This is a great place for hunting for gold, but not so much the numerous early american coin finds the East Coast/Northeast areas boast. I still have to work that day job, or I would go all in with the metal detecting too, Ill get there soon enough. I'm sure I will be reaching out for help soon. I just cant wait until I'm qualified to also make contributions here as well.

Hello, I'm from the US. I've been really interested in error coins since a good friend of mine got me into metal detecting, and the showed me his coin collection. He explain quite a bit of what to look for, I've just kinda taken off since he passed away, and am starting to get back into it. Figured I'd start reaching out to fellow coin hunters and start getting more familiar with all the ins and outs. Thanks for having me, and I look forward to seeing all the awesome coins out there.

Hello everyone. I'm Rossi. Nice to meet y'all. I'm currently living in Greensboro, Pennsylvania. I've only ever been a novice coin collector. I've found, upon occasion, steel pennies, wheat pennies, a quarter from the early 1900's and other coins. I wish I had been wiser to coins when I was young. I was left a coin purse full of coins from the 1800's, which I went through and used or lost most of them. Oh well, what ya gonna do? LOL

16 Years ago I started this topic with the following post We welcome each and every one of you to the coin community forum.
We hope you will find information and friendships here and also be able to provide us with the same.
If there is a subject of interest in coin or banknote collecting you should be able to find information on it here.
As security is always a concern to collectors we do not ask you to include your address in your profile.
BUT
PLEASE include the Country you are from in your profile.
We have members from around the world and we have a lot of members who come from nowhere. We would like to be able to see what countries are represented so if you haven't included this information, would you please update your profile with just the country.
Thank you
