hi all
my name is Leonard, from a little country called Albania. never thought there are forums for coin collectors, but it is interesting. I don't know much about coins as I'm new in the field, but have discovered some coins recently with my metal dedector and thought it would be a good idea to look around what people do with such coins.

@dirtdog,Did you get tired of the snow, also? I spent many a weekend on the Tug Hill Plateau. Fun while you're there but the drive to and from usually stunk.

Hello, My name is Kuttie and I am from Colorado. been collecting coins since December. I get some interesting coins out of roll searching. some people don't see what I see. I know I'm not crazy and if I am then I'm having fun doing it. its a nice hobby. Keeps my mind busy and maybe someday I will make some money.

Hi, my name is Tom. Seems like I am in familiar company.
Born and raised in NYC. With my dad's promotion, we moved out to LI. The LIE literally ended in Ronkonkoma NY in 1971, then they built on. I was used to sleeping with subway trains from the el, ambulances and police sirens all the time. Moved to country, darn crickets kept me awake, Took about a year to get used to it.
Schooled in Albany NY, nice compromise city, country. I can only afford to rent a room in the hood, they pulled a dead body out of the dumpster on the property just 3 weeks before, so I felt at home.
My brother relocated north of Syracuse, Central Square. We did alot of fishing on lake Oneida. Beautiful country. Think they had 250+ inches of snow that year. He loves his sleds to Old Forge. We often went to Buffalo Bills games. I was used to a 10 year waiting list at Giants Stadium, called the Bills front office, think tickets were like $16 and we sat in 2nd row corner endzone. Didn't know how easy it was to get tickets ever!
After school, my life took a drastic change for the worse: I moved to NJ. I think I cursed it for 15 years, but one of few places to get a job. Not anymore.
Out here PA, first western PA (Steelers Country) and now here NE of Scranton. Seems ok.
Got started in coins when my mom passed away, my dad gave me her coins. Back then gold was like $200 oz. Think my dad regrets that now L-O-L!!
Love the forum, love the community.
