Hello! I am from the fabulous (not so sunny at the moment) Las Vegas, NV. I have been in love with collecting random coins from pocket change or one of my faves, planting new trees in my grandma's front yard in Michigan. What does that have to do with coins? Well I am not sure if someone who lived here a few decades ago decided to just randomly bury Buffalo nickles for no reason or if they were doing it so no one stole their money, but then why only nickles lol or if they knew the value would go up or if they were just burying treasure for someone to find and a nickle was an affordable amount of money to do it with. Whatever the reason, every time my daughter wants to plant a tree for Arbor day, I am the first to volunteer grandma's front yard

Hi to all, I enjoy the early commemorative series and the 1792-current Type Set. I'm a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer, United States Navy. I've worked at David Lawrence Rare Coins, 2008/2009. I worked the DGS side of the house. I also had an opportunity to join NGC as the Special Projects Coordinator but declined the offer to be with my three daughters and eight grandchildren. Being in the Navy made me miss many special moments in their lives, which I wasn't going to do anymore.
I am currently doing research on the Early Classic Commemoratives and would appreciate anyone who can help me.
Live in Hampton Roads, Virginia. USA.
Enjoy your coins,
Lee
