Here she is...she has some lavander and gold toning that really didn't come out in the pix, but they really are apparent in hand.

I was amazed how hard it is to find a decent 20 cent piece that wasn't overpriced. I think I paid a tad more than I should have but I needed her to finish up the 41 coin Type Set I plan on selling next week on ebay. I was shooting for a minimum grade of VF for the book.

Do you all think she made the cut?

Added some light by adjusting the angle of the camera to it to show the toning:

Good point about the Liberty! The bottom of the "E" is alittle weak, but is there enough of it there to make it VF?

I think 'LIBERTY' must be visible for it to make VF grade.

I'd grade this VF-30.

Obverse: VF-25
Reverse: EF-40

Not necessarily true for these coins. The difference between 20 centers and other SL coins is the fact that LIBERTY is raised, not incuse like the other coins. Being raised means that it is the highest point and wears first or strikes up weakest. I see this one as choice VF to EF (VF30-EF40) and she is a beauty Do you mind if I ask what you paid?

I paid $180 for it, which is XF pricing but I was having a hard time finding one I liked.

I could go VF. The rim hits are a tad distracting, at least in the pictures, but a very nice coin. Let us know when you list the set!

Thank you for pointing that out biokemist6. That's a good price. I'll be looking for one soon for the type set.

STRONG VF...maybe VF35. Very nice. It is NOT necessary for the full Liberty to be there. Many of these were softly struck. The coin looks great...good going!

It's the coloring that makes it sweet. I'd pay over VF trending prices for it.

I like it. I agree with everyone that it's a VF.

VF, but one of those coins I would be very generous with if I could.
