The copper medal? is a stamped object with one protruding out from the surface. The back side is the same image protruding inwards. This is about the size of a quarter

My bet it is a from a broken piece of jewlery.

That there is a troll coin, likely cursed now once you removed it from its owner.

Go back sprinkle it with holy water and dig a hole. Spin around three times and throw it in the hole backwards. Do not look at it directly afterwards but place the dirt back over to cover it. Then leave about five acorns there to soothe the squirrel shield maidens that would had been sent after you if you didn't do this in time.

Or it's a piece of jewelry I guess but I like my idea better. Beware.
