Hi BadThad,
I'd call your cent VF-35 for the obverse. The reverse looks better in terms of wear and rates a full EF-40. The color looks mostly like good, original toned copper, but what are those spots on the reverse? Some kind of corrosion? They almost look like little burn marks.
Otherwise, a choice example of a scarce date!
