I just picked this coin up for the heavy sum of $5
I think it is Magnus Maximus; I see an X on the front. Though any help identifying it would be appreciated.
Also is that green spot on the reverse (on the Emperors chest) anything to worry about?
Thanks!

The obverse needs to be reshot closer and oriented the right way. Don't want to strain my neck to try figure out some faint lettering.

Very similar to Arles RIC26a on 'Wildwinds'

Does the Mintmark match?

I will scarf down breakfast then take a few more pictures . Okay. Considering you two didn't say anything about that green spot It must be benign. Right?

I've enhanced the images a bit, but really can't tell if it's him or not.

Need bigger pictures. If the green spot isn't flaky then it should be fine. I can't actually see it.

On the reverse it looks like someone put Ren. Wax on it. So the spot is under the wax.

I can sadly confirm that there is a light green spot on the obverse and reverse. It's probably BD, but it is under Ren. Wax. Does that make a difference or should I get my $5 back and buy a real BD free example?

LOL!
I would take acetone and remove the renwax, treat the BD. Or you could just scrape through the renwax. If you leave the BD it will spread into the coin.
